“Architettare l’ombra”

A project that me and Alessandro Miccio created for “PEZZI UNICI Modernissimi, incontri con l’arte contemporanea” which took place in Napoli, Italy on December 21st 2002.
Alessandro Miccio wrote the concept and I developed it into a short video-clip.

The work was on a loop and shown in the cinema main screen.

The concept was inspired by “Plato’s Cave”

In The Republic, (360 BC) Plato divided the visible world into two spheres or sections. One made up of images, shadows and reflections and ' the other section, of which this is only the resemblance, to include the animals which we see, and everything that grows or is made'.
